About Us
The Mackay region boasts a rich and diverse economy ranging from large scale mining and cane farming enterprises along with a burgeoning tourism industry. The Mackay Region Chamber of Commerce uses the footprint of the Mackay Regional Council, which covers an area of 7,621 sq km and is home to 110,000 people.
Beaches, tropical islands and a positive economic outlook are all major drawcards for the Mackay Region and the Mackay Region Chamber of Commerce works closely with local business, all levels of government and the broader community to enhance the opportunities for our members.
